Enerven has been appointed by ElectraNet, on behalf of Pacific Blue, to deliver the design and construction of the new 132 kV Clements Gap North Substation, including associated transmission line modifications and remote end works at Redhill Substation.

Pacific Blue is a leading Australian renewable energy company, and has been investing in hydro, wind, solar and storage assets for over 30-years to support the nation’s clean energy transition.

The opportunity

The project showcases Enerven’s full multi-disciplinary design and construct capability in high-voltage infrastructure. The scope of works includes: 

Clements Gap North Substation (T624) 

  • Design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning of the greenfield 132 kV AIS substation 
  • Primary & secondary systems build complete with Control Building 
  • AC/DC systems, telecommunications, metering, and automation 

Transmission Line Works 

  • Loop-in/loop-out reconstruction of F1887 Redhill – Clements Gap 132 kV transmission line 
  • Installation of three new tubular steel monopole structures 

Remote End Works at Redhill (T434) 

  • Protection scheme upgrades 
  • Telecommunications integration
