Across a two-day visit, our team including Nav Singh, Rob Coleman, Chris Fitzgerald, Mike Forster, Julian Valente and Gareth Jones, hosted the group across several project sites in the mid-north, highlighting key capabilities and current works.
Site visits included:
- Bungama BESS and Substation – project overview and site tour
- Lonsdale Substation – Telco Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) splicing work undertaken by a team of eight highly skilled technicians experienced in building, splicing, and maintaining complex OPGW networks
- Morphett Vale East Substation – 275kV six-yearly circuit breaker service, including operational checks and testing on ABB ELF SF6 equipment
- Redhill – RPA (drone) operational demonstrations, covering pre-flight checks, drone types, camera settings and inspection work methods
- Redhill Live pole changeover – a live line pole replacement as part of a broader program to replace 55 poles.
Throughout the visit, the Transgrid team expressed particular interest in Enerven’s fibre optic, substation primary plant refurbishment, maintenance and protection capabilities, as well as our Live Line Transmission and RPA expertise.
The roadshow reinforces the strength of Enerven’s relationship with Transgrid and highlights the collaborative opportunities to grow a future-ready energy network.
