Enerven and ElectraNet renew partnership as collaboration approaches 30 years
Enerven and ElectraNet have renewed their long-standing infrastructure maintenance and emergency response partnership, signing a new agreement that will continue the relationship for an initial five-year term.
The agreement covers the maintenance of ElectraNet’s transmission network and emergency response services, helping ensure the reliable supply of electricity to communities and industries across South Australia.
During the term of this new agreement, Enerven and ElectraNet will reach three decades of working together to maintain critical infrastructure, respond to network incidents and support the reliability of South Australia’s electricity system.

Enerven Chief Executive Officer Richard Amato said the renewal highlights the strength of a partnership built over time. “We’re proud to continue our partnership with ElectraNet and to be entering a new agreement of working together,” Mr Amato said.
“Partnerships like this are earned. They come from consistently delivering, building trust and showing up when it matters most.”
“Our people are the reason this partnership has lasted. For decades, they’ve maintained critical infrastructure, responded during emergencies and helped keep power flowing to homes, businesses and communities across the state.”
Mr Amato said the new agreement also reflects a shared focus on the future.
“This tenure is something to be proud of, but our focus is on what comes next. We’ll keep working with ElectraNet to improve how we deliver, respond to new challenges and support a reliable network for South Australians.”
ElectraNet Chief Executive Officer Simon Emms said the renewed agreement reflects ElectraNet’s confidence in Enerven’s experience and ability to deliver.
“South Australia’s transmission network has evolved significantly over the past 20 years to become a world-leading renewable-led energy system. Enerven has been a trusted partner throughout this journey.
“We appreciate Enerven’s expertise and responsiveness, and look forward to continuing our partnership to deliver safe and reliable transmission network for customers and communities across the state.”
For nearly three decades, Enerven has supported the maintenance of South Australia’s transmission network and provided emergency response capability during severe weather events and other network incidents. The longevity of the partnership reflects a shared focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
The renewed agreement strengthens Enerven’s position as a leading infrastructure services provider, delivering maintenance, emergency response and major energy infrastructure projects across Australia.
