Enerven is proud to continue as a Major Sponsor of Power Community Ltd in 2025

Enerven is proud to continue as a Major Sponsor of Power Community Ltd in 2025, reinforcing our commitment to reconciliation and meaningful opportunities for First Nations people.

Our support centres on the Santos Aboriginal Power Cup, the longest running AFL and education program for Aboriginal students in Australian professional sport. Delivered in partnership with the Attorney-General’s Department and the South Australian Aboriginal Secondary Training Academy (SAASTA), the program uses the power of sport and culture to engage more than 600 First Nations secondary students each year.

Aligned with the AFL’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round, the Power Cup combines classroom learning with a competitive AFL carnival as its centrepiece. The program is designed to support the National Closing the Gap targets, specifically around health, wellbeing, education, employment and economic participation.

To qualify for the carnival, students must meet minimum school attendance benchmarks and demonstrate strong academic and behavioural performance. It’s a powerful way to keep students engaged in their education while building pride in Aboriginal culture and identity.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to inclusion, opportunity and community,” said Enerven CEO, Richard Amato.

“By supporting the Santos Aboriginal Power Cup, we’re proud to help create lasting pathways for First Nations students—from school into further education and meaningful employment.”

This partnership aligns with Enerven’s broader purpose: connecting communities across Australia through infrastructure and social impact. We look forward to continuing this important work with Power Community Ltd to build a more inclusive, resilient future for all.
